Kota Barrage is a scenic point in Kota. It is a huge dam, where water is released for agricultural purposes. It was constructed in 1960 so that the waters that were stored by Gandhi Sagar Dam, Jawahar Sagar Dam, and Rana Pratap Sagar Dam could be channelized more effectively to parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
