Itinerary
Day 01: Haridwar – Barkot (180 km | 7–8 Hours)
Your Char Dham Yatra will begin in Haridwar. You will travel to Barkot, enjoying the beautiful landscapes of Dehradun and Mussoorie along the way. After checking into the hotel, you will rest for the night.
Day 02: Barkot – Janki Chatti – Yamunotri – Barkot
You will depart early in the morning for Janki Chatti. From there, a trek of approximately 6 kilometers will begin. Pilgrims have the option to use horses, palanquins, or *pithus* (porters) for the journey. After offering prayers and seeking blessings from Goddess Yamuna, you will return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km | 4–5 Hours)
After breakfast, you will depart for Uttarkashi. En route, you can enjoy the scenic Himalayan valleys and lush green forests. In the evening, you will visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
Day 04: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
You will depart for Gangotri Dham in the morning. At this holy shrine situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, a special *puja* (worship) will be performed for Goddess Ganga. After the visit, you will return to Uttarkashi, exploring Harsil Valley and other natural attractions along the way.
Day 05: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220kms/8-9 Hrs.)
You will depart for Guptkashi in the morning. Along the way, you will visit Tehri Lake, Rudraprayag, and the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. You will rest at the hotel in the evening.
Day 06: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30 Kms Drive | 18 Kms Trek)
Today’s journey is the most significant part of the trip. After reaching Gauri Kund, the trek to Kedarnath Dham will begin. Following the *darshan* (worship), you will have the opportunity to experience the spiritual atmosphere surrounding the Kedarnath Temple. You will stay overnight in Kedarnath.
Day 07: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (30 Kms Drive | 18 Kms Trek)
After attending the special morning Aarti and pooja of Lord Shiva, return to Gauri Kund and then depart for Guptkashi. The evening will be spent resting.
Day 08: Guptkashi – Joshimath (180 Kms Drive)
Today after breakfast departure for Joshimath. En route, there will be visits Chopta Valley, Gopeshwar Temple and beautiful Chamoli. After arrival check-in the hotel and after fresh n up will visit Narsingh Temple (Winter home of Lord Badrinath). Have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 09: Joshimath – Badrinath – Joshimath
In the early morning we will get pooja and darshan of lord Badrinath and will include a visit to Mana Village, Bhim Pul, the Saraswati River, and Vyas Gufa. Afterward, the journey will continue to Joshimath. The evening will be spent resting at the hotel.
Day 10: Joshimath – Haridwar (250 Kms Drive)
After breakfast, the group will depart for Haridwar. Enroute we will see Vishnu Prayag, Rudraprayag, Devprayag and Rishikesh. This will mark the conclusion of the sacred and memorable Char Dham Yatra.
