10 May to 16 May 2023: It is true that traveling fills the soul with happiness, and brings one in touch with nature. It is a great pleasure to live long enough to explore the known world. I also got the opportunity of one such journey which I had never thought of and that was Kedarnath Dham Yatra. The life of a common people is spent weaving his dreams and fulfilling them. Till this stage of age, I have seen many ups and downs in my life, there were many pleasant experiences in life and many bad ones too. But I have always thanked my God, perhaps it is the result of my good deeds that I got this opportunity at such a young age. Had the good fortune to have the darshan of God. Where Kedarnath Dham gives a feeling of heaven, it also makes you face the reality of life.

During the journey, I met many people with whom a few moments spent taught me the way to face the reality of life. So let's know Some of those moments, hearing about which perhaps you can also feel the reality of life. I am a lively girl, who has always lived her life on her own terms, even if it is the most important decision of a girl's life. [marry] or choose your career. For all this, I also thank my God and family, who supported me in every decision, I took.
Talking about the present time, today I have a very loving son of 9 years and an understanding husband, leaving him alone for a few days for the first time in his life and went on a pilgrimage to Kedarnath Dham, there were many questions in my mind, that son without me. Or will I be able to live without my son, but by the grace of God & with a good life partner, he gave me the strength to go away from the family. And we four friends [which is an example of all women empowerment] together started the journey of Kedarnath Dham from our home district on 10 May 2023. It was not that we had not traveled before in life, but the journey of Kedarnath Dham The experience is unforgettable.
On May 10, 2023, started the city from his home district at 10 pm and after resting for some time at his friend's house in Delhi at 7:15 pm, left for Delhi Bhamran. Waiting for the night with many questions, aspirations and enthusiasm in mind, When the Kadtarnath Yatra was to be started. Started the journey from Delhi R. K. Ashram on 11th May 2023 at 11:30pm with a group of 20 people. Delhi R.K. First of all from the ashram we all reached Haridwar [Har ki Pauri] at 5.30 am, where we got a chance to see and know the integral form of faith with sunrise.

Moving ahead from Rishikesh, via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, entered Guptkashi around 9:00. Where arrangements had already been made to stay in White Haven Camps.

Where after dinner and rest for some time, left for Kedarnath Dham from Guptkashi around 4am .

Where there was the fatigue of another journey, on the other hand, with the dream of reaching our destination and the intention to keep moving forward, we all reached the Sitapur parking lot [Sonprayag] from Guptkashi around 9 am. Actually your Kedarnath Dham Yatra starts from Sonprayag Sitapur parking, you can use vehicles till Sitapur parking only, after that according to the rules set by Uttarakhand government, the devotees have to move further towards Kedarnath Dham, in which the registration of the journey is the most important. Evidence is necessary, otherwise you may have to face many problems.
There is Kedarnath Dham registration checking counter at a distance of about 2 km from Sitapur parking lot [Sonprayag], whose process is the same for all the devotees, all the devotees have to walk in a line and move forward after completing the registration process.
After this, the shuttle service fixed by the government is taken to Gaurikund, the trekking site of Kedarnath Dham, about 3 km away, and from here the journey of all the pilgrims starts.

The yatra started at 11 am, going from Gaurikund to Jangalchatti, Lincholi, Rambada Rudrapoint base camp, 2 km east of Kedarnath Dham, ended on the horse ride route around 5 pm, after walking 2-3 km, we all returned to our homes at 6 pm. By the time we reached the cottege, the temperature of Kedarnath Dham had reached -1 degree, the cold was at its extreme level, the body was not supporting at all, because the Dham is located at a height, the oxygen level is very low, complete preparations Even after leaving, all of our bags, clothes and shoes were wet due to snowfall on the way, but with God's blessings and chanting of Om Namah Shivay in mind, after completing about 16 km climb Baba Kedarnath Dham Temple on 14th May 2023.
The pleasant experience I got of attending the Aarti cannot be described in words. The view of Kedarnath Dham makes one feel like a heaven, the mountains covered with snow cover around the temple, the light of the temple -1 degree temperature takes you even closer to God that there is some power which is always protecting this illusionary world. Yes, this trip has been one of the most enjoyable journeys of my life so far.
In the evening, after the Aarti in the temple, spend some time in the temple premises, during which he talks to the residents and learns about their lifestyle. To live in Kedarnath Dham, where there is a lot of lack of facilities, one has to struggle a lot for essential things as well.
After the landslide and flood in June 2013, the life of Kedarnath Dham got disrupted. Residents of the Dham told that many of their families The members have not been known till date, the sting of the holocaust of 2013 is still in the minds of the people, but even today Kedarnath Dham, covering all the happiness and sorrows, is teaching the lesson of faith and faith to the people standing at its place. As the night was falling, the cold was at its peak, to avoid the cold, I spent some time with the people who were cooking fire, who told that the wood is very expensive here because it takes money and money to bring wood from Garikund to Dham. It takes time for both, so the common people use tin cans, plastic and kerosene to light the fire.
To facilitate the journey of Kedar Dham, continuous construction work is being done by the government. After spending time in Kedarnath Dham till 9:00 pm, we came to our hotel, after resting for a few hours in the hotel again at around 3:00 am. Walked towards the temple for darshan, let me tell you that the doors of the sanctum sanctorum are opened at the time of sunrise for the darshan of the devotees, after morning darshan and aarti in the temple at around 5 am, the beautiful scene I saw with my own eyes is unforgettable, the snow-capped mountains all around, the redness of the sunrise and the wind giving a feeling of coldness are no less than a charming sight.
Baba Bhairavnath ji's temple is situated at a distance of about 500mtr from Kedarnath Dham, after visiting which we all returned to Gaurikund on 14th May 2023, collecting all the memories, in which all the members of the group took the pillion and helicopter as per their capacity. Made a choice, in which me and my companion started the return journey by choosing a walk, till the initial 5-7 km, both of us enjoyed the journey a lot, in which snowfall and continuous water falls, as well as sipping tea from time to time. Traveling with Maggi made the journey a very pleasant experience, as well as we both friends shared those aspects of our lives with each other which we had never done before, it was not that we had not met or spent time together before. But everyone is so engrossed in their normal life that they never get a chance.
I got many such experiences from this journey, which will make every person believe in the truth of life and the ultimate truth of faith. As I told, Humti was tired after walking 5-7 km, but both were tired of each other Enthusiastically crossed Jangalchatti, Bhimbali, Rambada and Lincholi, traveled till Gaurikund at 7 pm. Reached Sitapur Crossing [where our vehicles were] at 8:00pm . We were very tired but proceeded with chanting of Mahadev and reached Guptkhashi around 12:30 am on 15th May. After dinner and rest at 10 am all the people of group returned home and visited the historical place of Devprayag , Maa Dhari Devi temple Dangchoura.

DHARI DEVI TEMPLE & HYDRO ELECTRIC POWER PLANT, RUDRAPRAYAG[/caption]
Devi Temple is situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River between Rudraprayag and Srinagar in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. Mother Dhari Devi is worshiped as the preserver of Uttarakhand. Mata Dhari Devi Temple is one of the 108 Shaktipeeth sites. It is said that on June 16, 2013, for the construction of an electric dam built by Alaknanda Hydro Power, the temple of Mata Dhari Devi was shifted from its place to a height of about 611mtr. Incidentally, a few hours after that, one of the worst disasters the country had to face [the Kedarnath landslide].
The sting of that devastating landslide and flood [which destroyed the families of hundreds of people] is still in the minds of the people. Local people believe that Uttarakhand had to face the wrath of Matarani. Along with this, it was also told that in 1882 also, as a result of similar efforts by the King of uttrakhand , there was a landslide in Kedarnath, due to which Kedarnath was leveled. My thoughts were not able to adjust to this level of faith, but somewhere along the way the faith in God became more and more firm. After visiting the temple, got a chance to see and know the meeting place of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda river from where it flows as Ganga ji. To complete the Fitr journey, we reached Delhi on May 16, 2023 via Rishikesh Haridwar around 2:30 am from where we left for our home district Lucknow by morning train.
Kedarnath, is a part of Chardham Yatra. I must say that during such a long journey many problems were also faced but the experience of Kedarnath Dham Yatra is unforgettable, which introduced many aspects of life. Gaurikund to Kedarnath Dham Yatra Experience –
Chanting of God in the mind of all the pilgrims And with confidence we all started the journey from Gaurikund. To reach the temple in Kedarnath Dham Yatra, the Uttarakhand government has made arrangements for many types such as horse ride, pitthu and helicopter, which you can use according to your will, as well as walking can also reach Kedarnath Dham. It is very important to know that due to the difficult climb and change in weather from time to time, there may be some difficulties in traveling on foot, where it takes 10-12 hours to travel on foot, the same 5-6 hours by horse riding, and 7min from helicopter service can be reached, but booking for helicopter service has to be done well in advance from IRCTC and GMVM, suddenly there is no provision of helicopter booking service. Therefore, whenever starts the Kedarnath Dham Yatra, he should travel keeping all the things in mind in advance. All friends together chose horse ride for trekking [because we all were very tired by the time we reached Gadhera point Gaurikund]. Trekking started from around 11am, it took 5-6 hours, because Kedarnath Dham is at the highest point Due to its location, snowfall and rain from time to time, many problems have to be faced on the mountains. But still, let me tell you that during trekking, there is arrangement for eating and drinking at various places, in which you can enjoy Maggi and hot potato parathas with sips of tea in snowfall on all the mountains, no matter how difficult the journey.
