What is the best time to visit Kangra? If you want to visit Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, you can make a tour plan from January to June, and from September to December. July and August are the rainy season in Kangra and it might rain heavily. Temperatures in the winter season are between 7 degrees to 20 degrees Celsius. Temperatures from September to December are from 8 degrees to 29 degrees Celsius. The weather remains pleasant during these periods and is best for sightseeing and outdoor activities. But other than this, November to March is an ideal time to visit Kangra Valley. You can enjoy views of the snow-capped mountain peaks and do some treks. You will find many cafes here where you can spend your evenings sipping on hot tea, and coffee and socializing with friends. This is also the festival time when Shivratri, Lohri, and Holi are celebrated in Kangra. You can go on village tours and experience the rustic beauty of hamlets and Kangra tribes.
