Dr. Sandhu, who is the Chief Secretary of the Uttarakhand Government, has said that registration is a must if you want to visit Kedarnath and Badrinath in 2023. You can register through the online web portal, mobile application, and also through WhatsApp mobile number. This year, no one will be allowed to travel to the four pilgrimage centers without registering themselves along with their vehicles. Even local Uttarakhand people will have to register themselves this year. This will help solve some of the problems that the government faced during previous years like stampedes, overcrowding, etc.

No vehicles without registration
If you are traveling without registering yourself for Char Dham Yatra 2023 then the police will stop you. Checkpoints will be set up at certain points like Muni ki Reti and Bhadrakali Temple to stop the yatris who are traveling without registration. So if you want to go for Char Dham Yatra 2023 without being stopped by the police, you must register for this year’s Char Dham Yatra.

Online Registrations for Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham started on February 21, 2023, at 7 a.m. Registration dates for Gangotri and Yamunotri will be declared soon as the opening date of their portals is decided.
